TL;DR:

You can now play SWOLECEROR: MUSCLE WIZARD without having to select the "staging" branch of s&box.

We're working on a polish update after the judging ends and we can update it without breaking the rules.

And depending on our reception/potential placement you might be seeing quite a bit more of SWOLECEROR later on.

How to Play

1. Launch s&box without any beta branch selected.

2. Make sure "Work in Progress" is not selected in the ingame browser either.

3. Search up "swole" and it's probably the only MS Paint themed logo with a blonde haired wizard wearing shades in the list.

4. Now go punch some goblins into ludicrous gibs.

Post-Jam Release Inbound!

We're working on a polish and feedback focused update to be released when(or soon after) the judging period ends. Should reduce a lot of friction when playing the game. Seeing as 90% of the game came together in the last 3 days(hardest crunch I've ever been in..) we just didn't have the time to polish stuff like we wanted.

Future Plans

But depending on reception(prize money wouldn't hurt) we're planning so much more than that.

We're thinking of steering away from the jam theme. Gonna kick the general polish and brutality way up while adding actual weapons, spells, mana, player voice acting. Hardcore gore galore for your inner 90's kid with MS Paint flavoring. A dedicated "Talk Shit" button that makes the game harder. It's not entirely set in stone but we have a fairly good idea of what we want here already.

The game will be released in "chapters" similar to the original Quake. We might publish the first chapter as we go, but future chapters will probably only be released publicly when they're done.
